Summer’s already winding down, and I’ve just finally had a chance to check off a big to-do: spend a Saturday at the Brooklyn Flea. The very popular and ever-expanding Brooklyn Flea is a weekend market featuring hundreds of vendors of antiques, furniture, clothing, jewelry, and, my favorite, food.

I was in the market for a mirror and lugged a giant one home on the subway. Beyond that, it was all about the food. The highlight? Peaches and cream popsicle from People’s Pops!

Next stop: Smorgasburg, the Flea’s foodie outpost. Planning to bring a big appetite!
