This week we baked a very special order for two very special customers. Over the past couple of years, I feel like I’ve gotten to know Jessica and Nicole through their many orders for a whole variety of occasions. While they both live in California and I’ve never met them in person, I always smile when their names cross our order screen. They’re two of Baking for Good‘s longest-standing and most loyal customers, and that’s infinitely important to a small business owner like me.
Last week Jessica emailed me with very happy news: Nicole’s having a baby! Okay, this wasn’t quite how she emailed me; we were emailing about another order and she mentioned that she wanted to do a special order of peanut-shaped sugar cookies for a friend, and sure enough, I learned that they were for Nicole!
Anyway, long story short, we made these peanut sugar cookies for Jessica to send to Nicole and her husband to express her excitement. We just happened to get really excited about them, too. We’ve added them to our online bakery here so you can enjoy them as well!
